Support & Maintenance Adelaide

If your site or app hasn't been looked after in a while, we can take it from here.

Outdated plugins, unpatched security holes, and features that quietly broke months ago are more common than most businesses realise. We provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites, apps and custom software, so nothing is left to chance.

Signs it's time

Signs your site or app needs support.

  • Plugins, themes, libraries or the CMS itself haven’t been updated in a year or more.
  • Your browser shows a "Not Secure" warning, or your SSL certificate has lapsed.
  • Nobody on your team currently owns keeping the site or app updated and patched.
  • A contact form, checkout, or key feature quietly stopped working and nobody noticed for a while.
  • The original developer or agency is unresponsive, has closed, or is no longer contactable.
  • You are not sure whether backups exist, or whether they would actually restore if needed.
  • Load times have crept up over time and nobody has looked at why.
  • App store reviews are flagging crashes, or updates keep getting rejected or failing.

What we support

Support and maintenance, across almost every platform.

If it needs to keep running, keep updating, and keep passing security checks, we can likely take it on, whether we built it originally or not.

WordPress support & maintenance

Core, plugin and theme updates, security hardening, and fixing what a previous build left behind.

iOS app support & maintenance

Keeping an existing iPhone or iPad app compiling, passing review, and working on current OS versions.

Android app support & maintenance

SDK and dependency updates, Play Store compliance, and fixes for devices the app was never tested on.

Web app & SaaS support

Ongoing maintenance for custom-built web applications, dashboards and internal tools.

E-commerce support

Shopify, WooCommerce and custom store maintenance, including checkout and payment reliability.

Custom software support

Picking up ongoing maintenance for bespoke systems, even ones we did not originally build.

Security patching & updates

Applying security updates promptly, rather than leaving known vulnerabilities sitting unpatched.

Dependency & version upgrades

Keeping frameworks, libraries and platform versions current so the software stays supportable.

Hosting, domain & server management

Renewals, DNS, server health and hosting changes handled before they become a problem.

Backups & disaster recovery

Automated backups that are actually tested, so a bad update or attack is not a catastrophe.

Performance & speed optimisation

Finding and fixing the reasons a site or app has gradually gotten slower.

Uptime & error monitoring

Knowing when something breaks before your customers tell you.

Third-party integration maintenance

Keeping payment gateways, APIs and connected services working as they change on their end.

Bug fixes & small ongoing changes

A responsive channel for the small fixes and tweaks that pile up without dedicated support.

Our process

How a support engagement starts.

  1. 1

    Support audit

Reviewing the platform, dependencies, hosting and security posture as it stands today.

  2. 2

    Security & update triage

Patching known vulnerabilities and overdue updates first, before anything else changes.

  3. 3

    Backup & monitoring set up

Putting safety nets in place, tested backups and uptime monitoring, before ongoing work begins.

  4. 4

    Ongoing plan agreed

A fixed monthly plan or ad hoc support, scoped to what your site or app actually needs.

  5. 5

    Regular updates & patching

Core, plugin, dependency and OS-level updates handled on a predictable schedule.

  6. 6

    Monitoring & response

Catching downtime, errors and suspicious activity early, and acting on it quickly.

  7. 7

    Bug fixes & small changes

A responsive channel for the fixes and tweaks that would otherwise pile up.

  8. 8

    Plain-English reporting

A clear summary of what has been done, and what is coming up next.

Security first

Security updates are not optional.

Most compromised sites and apps were not targeted specifically, they were running software with a known, unpatched vulnerability that had been public for months. Keeping the CMS, framework, plugins and dependencies current is the single most effective thing we do for a support client, and it is treated as a priority, not an occasional clean-up task.

Who this is for

Businesses whose site or app was built by a developer or agency who is no longer around, teams without an in-house developer to own ongoing maintenance, and anyone who wants security updates, backups and monitoring handled properly instead of hoped for.

FAQ

Common questions.

Yes, most of our support clients come to us this way. We start with a support audit so we understand what we are taking on before agreeing to an ongoing plan.

Yes. Applying security patches promptly, for the CMS or framework itself and for plugins, themes and dependencies, is one of the most common reasons clients bring us in. Left unpatched, these are the most common way sites and apps get compromised.

Tell us what you are seeing and we will assess it as a priority. Depending on the situation this can mean cleaning up and patching the existing site, or in some cases a rebuild is the more reliable path. We will be upfront about which situation you are in.

Both are available. Most clients settle into a fixed monthly plan scoped to what their site or app actually needs, but ad hoc support is also fine if that suits you better.

Yes. We support WordPress, Shopify and WooCommerce sites, custom web applications, and native iOS and Android apps, whether we built them or not.

Response times are agreed as part of your support plan and scaled to what you actually need, whether that is a site going down or a security issue that needs patching immediately.
